Using Your Smoker
A:
- Pellet smokers use wood pellets and offer great flavor with automatic temperature control.
- Electric smokers are plug-in friendly and easy to use—great for beginners.
- Bullet smokers (charcoal-based) provide that classic smoky flavor and are ideal for slow, hands-on cooking.
A: It depends on your smoker type. Pellet smokers require food-grade wood pellets, charcoal smokers need lump charcoal or briquettes, and electric smokers need no additional fuel—but wood chips can be added for flavor.
A: After each use, empty the ash tray (if applicable), clean grates, and wipe down surfaces. Deep cleaning once every few uses will extend your smoker’s life and improve flavor. Check your user manual for specific instructions.
